I don't even know what these Take a Break ads are all about. I don't even think I know what an advert is anymore. I download, TiVo or stream all my TV stuff these days.
Two things -
1) When you are in the supermarket and you go to buy something and someone is standing in the middle of the aisle looking at the exact same thing you want to buy, so you are polite and give them a minute to make a decision, and then another minute goes by and the fooker is still looking at the tins of tuna.
So you say, 'screw it' this fooker's going to be here forever, I'm going for it, I'm pushing in front and grabbing that tuna. Then when you move in to get your tuna, the bastard suddenly pounces and cuts you off - forcing you to say sorry to a c**t for being a c**t.

I don't usually mind what US slang we adopt, but there is one term which annoyed me from the very first time I heard it, and has continued annoying me ever since. It's the term 'no brainer'. Initially, I didn't understand what it was supposed to mean anyway; did it mean only a 'no brain' would take a certain decision? And who wants the mental picture of a disgusting brain anyway?
