Odd, I really like Embrace, but don't like Coldplay. Well, I liked their first album a bit.

I bought the Come Back To What You Know single. I just re-listened to it and everything went all 90s.

I've just been playing Fireworks and very nearly had a little cry. But stopped just short, due to being all butch.

Must've played that LP hundreds of times when it came out, and also the first and third Dexys albums. :D

Some bugger gave me a Tom Waits album (Rain Dogs) for Christmas. I've listened to it three times today in the hope that I might eventually start to like it. Weirdly, it's beginning to work.

That's the difference between Top 40 shite as Lady Gaga and great (but difficult) artists like Tom Waits. It takes you three listens to get into Waits, and three listens to get annoyed by the likes of Gaga (...for me: 5 seconds).
