Just made it. Good stuff! Better than cream.

I'm salivating at the thought of it.

I don't like general "white sauces" with pasta, apart from bechamel in lasagne. But eggs were not overbearing and complimented the pasta perfectly. Will make again.

Plums.

:D

Had a bit of steak earlier and very nice it was. Had a go at doing Heston's tip of flipping it every 15 seconds and then leaving to rest on a wire rack afterwards. Made for a good eat.

Just made some slow cooked lamb which I shredded up and then paired with black olives and a homemade tomato sauce. Served with some pasta and a glass of wine. Was delicious to say the least.

Tonight: Green Thai Curry.

Tomorrow: Steak and ale stew with dumplings.

I like making green thai curry. The best (and only) recipe I've ever used was from a Woman's Own booklet. A lot of ingredients though and rather expensive from what I recall.

Ha! You're a regular reader of Woman's Own? *snigger*

Does that chat up line ever work with Nigella?
