I see they want a B team in the league too.

Isn't one failure of a team enough?

Messi returned tonight with two goals and the second one came from a great run. 328 goals for Barcelona now and he's still only 26. Utter madness.
Will he perform at the World Cup though?
Don't try to change the subject.
I thought the subject was football?
I have a few Man U friends on Facebook and they are freaking out at all the criticism coming their way. Some would say that it's a childish reaction, that a load of spoiled glory hunters who used to lord it over lesser teams are now revealing themselves to be superficial fair weather friends and whiny little babies. A typical case of dishing it out but not being able to take it.
Of course, I would never make such an accusation about Manchester United fans.
I see Man City only managed to put one more past the Hammers than the Mighty Reds of Nottingham.
Poor.

How long have you been working on that?

There was one 'fan' on the radio the other day who claimed he was such a big fan he couldn't watch them losing and had to turn off the TV. He would then make sure he avoided all TV and newspapers for the next couple of days.

Man United talk, Spurs just get on and do it.
Swindon are all but bankrupt but the chairman Lee Power is an old team-mate of Tim Sherwood. Tim has loaned them three players, sold them two more on rumoured buyback contracts and put them onto two of our released youngsters. In pre-season there was a joint training camp with our development squad, and this season the Robins have been playing precisely the high possession, quick passing game that Tim is trying to inculcate at Spurs.
This is working well for both clubs. Based on their financial position and the thinness of their squad, Swindon fans expected them to be in a relegation fight this season, but with the support provided by Spurs there is a chance of them making the play-offs. And for Spurs reserve team players are getting to play competitive football in the Tottenham style rather than playing against kids or being loaned out to some hoofball Football League club where they would just pick up bad habits.

Are they trying to copy Manchester United and adopt a feeder team? I'm not sure it's really healthy. It may seem like they're helping but it's eroding the spirit of league football. Suppose they get drawn against each other in the cup? OK - maybe not this season.
Moyes for manager of the month December eh?

Wonder how he feels about Gum Gob's eyes burning into the back of his head every match?
