It's a big bag of nonsense but I enjoyed it on the whole, luckily the superb performances and the direction carry it along, you just have to remember not to think too hard about any of it otherwise it all crumbles to dust.
Personally, I was expecting this new episode to be terrible with loads of cop outs and a ridiculous explanation, so I was pleasantly surprised and I think it's brilliant, whilst simultaneously being infuriating, that we'll probably never know the true version of who Sherlock faked his death.
The "V for Vendetta" plot was poor though and almost as if it was a tacked on afterthought.
Still, I'm looking forward to the next two episodes.
