I think he's great on panel shows and as a guest on chat shows, however, I've found his live shows to be a bit underwhelming. I see he is touring, and I'll definitely give it a watch when/if it comes out on DVD though, as he's a very likeable personality.
Reginald D. Hunter
I saw him live and wasn't impressed.
I saw him live and was extremely impressed.
Reg is one of the best NEW comedians working in this country. He is an amazing, vibrant star, and has a fresh approach at observational comedy.
I think he's excellent, but agree that the live show I saw could have been tightened a bit. I think he's got an unusual comic voice, it's quite refreshing.
I saw him live and thought he was premier league, to be honest.

I think he's been on TV for several years, so wouldn't describe him as new.
I've never been that keen on him to be honest. Maybe the odd laugh on a panel show, but not enough to tempt me towards his standup.

Yes he is.
Saw Reg D, Nov 2013 @ Hammersmith.
May have been a bad day for Reg but all in all it was an oddly disjointed and if anything a thought provoking rather than entertaining show.
We expected some close to the mark comedy and that's fine when used in the right context, Reg just seemed to want to recount material or use language that would cause a shock reaction though without real rhyme or reason or any actual comedy value.
It got a little awkward when the charitable laughs wore off and the crowd had made almost had no audible reaction to any of his act other than the occasional sharp intake of breath when he said things like "I want to smell your pu$$y" to of one of the females in the crowd.
1st time I have been to Hammersmith and for multiple groups of people to be getting up part way through the main act and leaving.
On the other hand, his opening act Peter Johansson on the other hand was brilliant, lively, very funny and did an incredible warm up act....wish it had lasted longer tbh.
