The previous announcements for the last three Doctors have never really wowed me, but Capaldi's did. Looking forward to seeing what he brings to the role.
On the website there's a rather jolly little video with Strax, I may be wrong but I think there maybe room for a torchwood clone....

The only thing that slightly worries me is that fact everyone knows him and expects him to be great, it was the other way round with Smith. He has expectations to live up to that Smith never did. Sure he'll be very good, mind you.

I was only half watching, but really had no idea what was going on. I liked Capaldi's 10 seconds though.
