What are you listening to now? Page 1,090

I'm a bit of a Stephen Stills fan...but I didn't know this album.
I have the first one and Down The Road though.

As the name suggests it's not a coherent album, just leftovers all pulled together. To my ears much if it was fine remaining unreleased, but that said 'Witching Hour' is worth the price of admission on it's own anyway.

Curiously enough listening to Mr Stills' latest effort (The Rides - Can't Get Enough) myself right now and digging it a lot. 'Don't Want Lies' just might be his best song since 'Southern Cross'.

Funktastic! Right up there with other early 70s soul albums like Curtis and What's Going On.

Got this on vinyl. Might be worth a bob or two.

Glad to see you've got your dancin' shoes on again, Gordon. :D

I'm giving this another airing as I loved it and am delighted that Mojo have made it their No 1 album of the year. The track begins almost in the style of Leonard Cohen. Then, to my ears, the ghost of Gil Scott-Heron appears to join Crosby, Stills, Nash and Webb. As in Jimmy Webb. Irregularly structured. Brilliantly nuanced.
