Doctor Who... Page 1,042

Ha, yes.

Just watched An Adventure in Space and Time. The guy playing Troughton was terrible - looked like a silly fan in costume. Don't cast mates in cameo roles if they don't fit the part. Spoils the show.

He was a bit cartoonish, but I think Troughton was sometimes.
It didn't bother me, anyway.

It was too short to spoil it
But It was bad miscasting.

Grandson Sam might have made a more convincing choice.

I imagine in the Crimbo special he's going to turn into Capaldi at the end of the episode as they ALWAYS do, personally for a change I think it would be nice if they changed mid-story, so the new one has to carry on working \ solving \ pointing his screwdriver at the current dilemma.

Won't happen though. More likely to have a female 15th Doctor

Ooh, that would be rather interesting.
Matt Smith fans would feel all cheated though, I guess.

Yes, especially as this is a single episode. Half-way through the final ep of a seires, okay, but during a one-off hour long special, no! Let Smith have a proper send off.

Yes. It would be nice to have a full 5 minutes of Capaldi at the end though, not just a one liner about his new teeth or whatever. :)

Mainly because I want to have some hints about what his Doctor is going to be like, and to see what he's going to be wearing, etc.
Although it will be nice to see him in Matt's little bowtie.

Perhaps they could have the Doctor trapped in a reverse time flow, so we start with the regeneration and work backwards to see what caused it. And dispense with "Christmas" - it's not necessary to cram Christmas into a show just because it's broadcast around Christmas.

What about the the Doctor Who Ramadan Special or the K9 Purim Special?

And how about a ban on the theme of "self-sacrifice"?

And the Capaldi casting announcement is revealed to have been a hoax because the next Doctor is Oprah Winfrey.

There is no way they would have a doctor who is American.

No split in the next series, every episode in a lovely row:

Good news, I think the past two series have shown pretty clearly that splitting it into two chunks is not the best idea ever.

Lets just hope for solid stories, less soap, less whimsy, less daft humour.

And more, I dunno Who.

It's "I dunno what." And it's better in French.

Thank gawd for that.
