Grammar matters but exceptions can be made for those with learning disabilities because with them it's not just laziness. It is also assumed that, as you say, a friend or proofreader will sort if out before it goes off to a producer.
If someone comments that your punctuation is wrong, why not just explain that you have a disability? They'll be fine with that. We can't just assume everybody has a disability and never mention poor grammar.
The way you were posting earlier was like saying no one should check their grammar before posting here. People without learning disabilities making mistakes because they're too lazy to check their own work before asking others to give up their time to read and comment on it is disrespectful, though.
