Modern art is rubbish

Because it is, all of it load of crap.

In the case of Chris Offili literally.

Bunch of silly perfomances, piles of rubbish and other nonsense for silly people to make a fuss over.

Gone are the days when you made a statue of someone famous, out of marble with a chisle. Now you're more likely to make it out of marvel with a swizzle.

So here's where you can name all the modern and rubbish art.

That's not art it's just a very silly way to get a cold bottom and an infection.

That particular piece of modern art is total rubbish (and gross), but not all modern art is rubbish.

I'm not sure I'd class picassonas modern

And maybe I mean stylistically, Lucian Freud awesome.
But Andy Warhol was just photographing his shopping

I like the statue looks like one of those scented candles you buy for an aunt, you don't really care much about.

I have no objection to gullible multi-millioniares being ripped off by modern art scammers, but I do object to head-up-the-arse curators at public galleries squandering tax revenue, or untalented sinecured art school lecturers pouring cold water on the talent of any student who can actually hold a pencil properly.

I like some modern art, and dislike other modern art. The stuff that hits the papers tends not to interest me. There was a performance art piece somewhere at the International Art Festival in Manchester one year that was just some woman falling down the stairs over and over. I would have gone to see that, though admittedly it's because it sounds hilarious.

Last time I was in a gallery I liked Grayson Perry's print, which this is a section of (there's a lot more to it. One corner is dedicated to 'wankers':
