You've got some good defenders playing tomorrow
Evra is capable of a high score.
And If Liverpool have a good game Gerard will be involved I should think

I wrongly guessed you might swap Ozil for Gerrard, Steve, as a Red. Did you avoid him because Ross already has him? Congrats on your score today.

I should be rejoicing at the performance of my four players today. Unfortunately, I was very close indeed to captaining Ramsey as I know how he thrives on return visits to Wales. Changed my mind at the last minute!

I see you captained Aguero, so you should be in safe hands. :)

Man City v Swansea should be interesting. City's result last week will have sent a big warning to visiting teams. How can they combat the threat? Spurs were particularly inept though, so I can't see many teams repeating their mistakes. I wonder how many more times this season City will be high-scoring at home? Hard to predict.

In the BCGH mini-league, hats off to Badge on buying Gouffran for GW12. You should do very nicely tomorrow if Chelsea keep a clean sheet and Cole gets picked as well.

Jeez, do you all have spreadsheets?

My problem of late is keeping faith with Benteke. And making him captain. Running out of patience now...

Pfft, I'm more of an old school type when it comes to this.

I only choose players who's names begin with E X C E or L

I love Gerard but I think he's too old
I may dabble with Couthino depending on their upcoming form

2,572 overall at the mo.
I think That'll be my peak

I picked Coutinho originally for my squad, then swapped him at the last minute. He was white hot at the end of last season, and seemed to have a good shot on him too, but hasn't recaptured the same form yet. Might be his young age, and this season's injuries.

Just watching MOTD. Borini and Brunt looking better bets that Benteke.

I'm not overly confident. Aguero has been excellent. Only a couple of duff games. Plus Swansea v Valencia was like a battlefield at times. Several injuries - and Bony is injury prone anyway. BUT Pellegrini feels that it will be a stern test and is claiming that Swansea are the second best team in the league for possession.

Originally I was looking to captain Suarez but then there was that blood bath of a training session. Possibly the biggest surprise to me has been the sheer number of injuries to players in the Premiership in any week. I don't know what on earth they were doing at Liverpool but it would have been quite comical if it wasn't so serious. I notice though that Skrtel and Suarez are labelled fit on ff and the pre-existing Sturridge problem doesn't sound too terrible. I wonder then if some of it is just newspaper hype and Ferguson style politics.

Gouffran is doing very well and it is astonishing to see Newcastle up to fifth. Good for them. Maybe, Alan Shearer, there aren't too many French players after all! As for Spurs, AVB is rotation mad. He is not allowing any area of the team to settle. In the circumstances, I don't think they have done badly. I also feel there will continue to be more in the way of consistency than meltdown. They are among the most dependable.

I'm trying to work out if Dawson was sent to Tromso to get him back fully in the swing of things or as a punishment. There were nine team changes. I think he has been scapegoated. All the defenders were lousy against Man City including Vertonghen. Surely as Captain he will retain his starting place in the long run?

I think he's just right for you. Apparently he's a sensuous and thoughtful lover Hug

No easy games for them though which I think will effect their opportunities. I picked them all because they are often pushed forward and corners are always good for Vertongen and Ivanovic.

Am I right in thinking there's a quick turnaround before midweek games this week? Do we get another free transfer?

Yep.

Spurs looking better against Man Utd in the first half, 1-1.

Inevitably Walker scores when I left him on the bench. :)

I considered putting him in this week, but his form's been disappointing.

You are, and we do. The deadline is Tuesday 19:30.

Nasri scored
Don't feel so bad about ditching Ozil now

Twice, wasn't it? ;)

Typical Sunshine understatement. Laughing out loud
