Are all the English clubs through to the CL knockout stages now? I hope so. I really hope so.

I'd love them all to except one.

Wolves are top of League One by the way . . . .

Do you mean the Third Division?

More importantly Leyton Orient are nicely tucked away in second.

Gordon Strachan won the EUFA Cup with Aberdeen? I think it was actually the defunct Cup Winners Cup.

Always had a soft spot for Valencia. Maybe their colours but I'd love Swansea to progress.

And can stay there! Draw away to Bristol City? Pah !

They've got firepower though I know that much.
I know nothing about Wolves however sorry.
But they can't be as bad as everyone keeps saying all the time because they are top of the table

We keep getting skillfully lucky !

:D

Wolves are a sleeping giant though aren't they?
They were in the Premiership not too long ago, and back in your day they were a top top team.
First I remember of them was them when they had Andy Gray & Emlyn Hughes.
(May need to check If I got the Emlyn Hughes bit right.)

Orient on the other hand have only been in the top flight once
They went up the same season as Liverpool in the sixties.
And straight back down.

Emlyn definitely played for them.

I remember Doog and Peter Knowles who packed up playing when he became a Jehovah Witness.

Chelsea v Wolves in 1967 was the first pro match I went to.

1-0 to Chelsea then a few days later Wolves won 3-0 in a return fixture.

Had to look that up actually..
