There is, it's the one called Ben.

Well you have a 27 year old and a 32 year old in this house who have never heard of it. We are shit, though.

Prepared to back down if this is famous and I'm an idiot :D

It's from three decades or more ago sglen so I wouldn't fret.

'Fret' Now there's a word I haven't heard in a while, last time I read that was in something I read in a PG Woodhouse caper, can't think which one.

Which ones have you read? Did you enjoy them?

Teddy, I really am trying to keep my nose out but following the full page call out of Sootyj.....

....my concern for you is that even if you were successful (which I hope you are) in getting something you have written aired, performed or published, you haven't got the temperament to deal with the human side and quite frankly, if you come across in real life as you do in your darker moments here, I could see it being very difficult for anyone to work with you.

Belay your concerns Will I'm not a rash person in real life, your assumptions about my post are based simply on one side of an argument that you are privy to.

However given you didn't see what Sooty wrote and then quickly deleted you wouldn't be able to really judge fairly, would you?

The tactic used is all to common on this site, someone throws a grenade then puts their hands in their pockets and whistles like they're innocent and then the victim looks like a loon, surprised you didn't know that Will.

As for me being unable to deal with people you are very very very wide of the mark as I am in reality a very reasonable person. I'm a great dad, a loving husband and I have never in my life let a friend down. In reality all I am is an unknown writer who is trying hard to get recognised.

I post more comedy that I do arguments , the only difference is I react to snide remarks and unfair snipes, I always have and always will, because you need to in real life to a degree you really do.

So if someone says they don't like my stuff it's not a problem, as I am more than aware that comedy is subjective.

But if someone is riding your back for fun the best thing to do is unseat them it really is that simple.

As for my calling out Sooty, so what?

What do you want me to do develop a f**king stammer? And let someone buzz off you because they're bored shitless.

Will never mistake standing up for yourself as the actions of someone who is hard to deal with, if you do then you're in for a rude awakening.

If polite society is standing there smiling as someone drops thinly disguised insult after insult at you and you don't react, that's not polite society,it just means you're a coward who is unsure of their worth.

So in conclusion and in a bid to assuage your fears, I am not a hot head will but I'm not a plant pot either and if someone thinks they can buzz off me, they are swatted, simple as.

Round our way we call it looking after yourself.

It can be crude at times but it depends who is viewing it, I'll give you a for instance

About two years ago I was at a cash point in Loughborough it wasn't that dark and it was quite busy.

I saw a lad about 17 he was with two lads about 23/ 24 they where together at the machine but I could tell that the younger lad was in a spot, the body language was well out.

Then one of the older lads shoved / punched the younger lad in the side not hard but enough to show what was going on.

There were five people in the queue by then, me and two men 30ish they were with their wives/ girlfriends. Everyone knew the score but they didn't want to get involved so the lad was on his own as far as they were concerned.

I went up and asked the lad if he was ok, one of the other lads told me to f**k off and mind my own business, they said that the young lad owed them money and they were getting it off him and the young lad was clearly terrified.

Then one of the women who with the two men came over and went to stand by me in support. Anyway her boyfriend pulled he back and told her not to get involved.

The young lad started crying so I told him to go home on his own, the other two started fronting me so I put the biggest one on his arse with a swifty to the jaw.
The other lad ran off and the young lad ran the other way. he never said thanks but the relief on his face did

Then one of the men who was with the women started calling the police on his mobile, about twenty people where there by then. He made a big show of the call and said in a loud voice "We've caught a mugger"

The lad on the floor then get his head together, he was only out for about ten seconds, he got up and walked past all the people and not one of them tried to stop him.

I never used the cashpoint then as I knew it would identify me if I did and I didn't need the hassle. So I started walking away as well.

The man with the mobile then asked me to stay there while the plod came so I could give a statement.

Everyone was nodding like Donkey's at this suggestion.

I said "Witness to what? Two shithouses robbing a kid while another two shithouses watch"

I started walking away,as I did the man I called a shithouse had to be held back by his girlfriend (All five foot of her) he was trying to show the crowd he was rock.

Anyway I f**ked off before the plod as I had no intention of relying on what the crowd would say.

Probably "A Scouse thug was hitting people and insulting others"

That's how things go sometimes Will, but if I saw the same thing today I would still stand up and be counted regardless of how it looks, because it's how you feel inside that counts s far as I'm concerned.

Funny you should say that. Same thing happened to me at an ATM this morning. A couple of Chinese women were forcing another Chinese woman to withdraw some money. A crowd of onlookers was doing nothing, so I beat the crap out of everyone and saved the day. They wanted to put me on the TV news, but I nonchalantly returned to my lair to fight more crime.

Youu don't have to believe a word I say. I am not arsed it's the internet.

To be fair Teddy you do sometimes seem bothered.
