the only thing I don't like about this Mr Perry is that you've made them Northern. I think it'd be funnier if the dad was alf garnett style cockney, or transylvanian.

I'm writing on a few new shows for Baby Cow and Objective - as are a few others on this forum. Don't know how much stuff I've got on yet though. Also got my own sketch show pilot that's supposed to go into production with the BBC next month - but again, always wise to treat it as pie in the sky until contracts are signed. I've tasted disappointment before and it wasn't nice. Imagine sucking lemon juice through a tramp's y-fronts. That's what it tasted like.

Is it worth sending skits to them at their submission address?

Well a producer at Baby Cow phoned me and said he liked the stuff I'd put up on the 4laughs website and asked if I'd like to work on the new show. So that was down to getting my stuff on the net. With the Objective shows it was C4's comedy commissioning editor Shane Allen who put my name forward. I'd sent him a YouTube Last Of The Summer Wine spoof and a few scripts that he liked. So THAT was down to getting my stuff on the net.(Summer Wine spoof here - can't remember whether I've posted it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndr9gDX6zS8 )
So yeah, just keep sending your stuff. Join 4Laughs and any online comedy thing that comes up. They do get read by people who actually make tv shows. (As Mr Jacob's recent posts on these boards prove!)
