Although I don't believe any of them, I am a huge fan of the conspiracy theory. My personal favourite is the proffered by David Icke that reptillian humanoids from Alpha Draconia are behind all the major events in human history. I actually heard a caller on Jeremy Vine's phone-in show talking about these reptoids, and he really did believe it. Although he did get mysteriously cut off midway through his call, so maybe he was onto something?
Best conspiracy theories?
SlagB is a big conspiracy fan. The title of one of his punk band's CDs was "There are no conspiracies (but the One True Conspiracy)" which sums up his belief that the others are a smokescreen for the real one. It's a line I wish I'd written.
One of the best comedy conspiracy theories was the 'Boyfriend' episode of 'Seinfeld' where part of the plot drew in a parody of the assassination of President Kennedy. Clever stuff which somehow made far more sense than JFK getting his brains wiped off the upholstery.
Paul McCartney is dead. That's the one that always interests me, even though it's bull.
Zappa have you seen the trick with a mirror held to the drum on the sgt pepper cover? Now that is spooky. To me it seems that John, especially, was having fun putting in messages when he realised how much fan analysis was going on. I'm not sure he started out with the intent (maybe subconsciously he was wishing it) that Paul was dead but the 'clues' all seemed to point down that road. Especially his line in Glass Onion: "Here's another clue for you all, the Walrus was Paul" Genius. It indicates his awareness in his tongue-in-cheek way.

Just googled thaat and found this..
Not heard of any of that before, but very interesting, thanks!
That was hilarious!
How desperate did the clues get as you progress down the page?!
"If you vertically mirror down the left elbow of Diana Dors you get what looks like a walruses snout, whiskers and tusks."
I also like Al Fayed thinking that the Royal Family put out a hit on Diana and Dodi, and can't wait for the loony court case.
He's a bit barmy, that one. There's no doubt that they weren't on the best terms with Diana at the time, but after seeing the way that they all rally round and protect each other, I can't think that they would have wanted to affect William and Harry like that.
Here's The Slagg Brothers' pal, AJ Desmond's blog on 7/7 and 9/11. Some of the ideas you may have heard before but the Radio and TV interviews given by Paul Power immediately after the attacks (and subsequently dismissed by all parties) are a bit worrying.
