Favourite John Sullivan sitcom

For me it has to be OFAH with Citizen Smith in 2nd. Which is the best one?

These two are the only ones I know (Dear John should be the next for me to check out)...it has to be OFAH for me as well.

Just Good Friends too Gordon.

Probably Dear John.... for me. Never actually watched Just Good Friends though.

Ofah and Citizen Smith

I was, and still am if truth be known, deeply in love with Jan Francis . .

I love Dear John.... And the theme song.

OFAH by a country mile. I would say though a close second would be the very underrated 'Roger Roger' by Sullivan. Would really like to see that again.

Only Fools and Horses definitely, they are true classics!

Well, Only Fools & Horses. However, take OFAH out and I would say Citizen Smith. Robert Lindsay is a fine comedy actor and he carried 'My Family' for years despite its obvious writing deficiencies and was chiefly responsible for its popularity. He was great as Wolfie and made him one of comedy's classic buffoon characters.

Only Fools & Horses is the best of Sullivan's work and I also loved Ciztizen Smith.

What was the best letter in John Sullivan's name? I think it is the second L.

This is easy
It's either Sitting Pretty or Roger Roger.

I am a rabid Anglophile and I think all British humour is better than anything we come up with on this side of the pond.

That said, I never could get into OFAH and I thought Just Good Friends was.. just bad. Outside of Paul Nicholas looking really adorable and being charming, I never got that famous "tension" between them. It was just frustrating that they couldn't either get together or split apart, i.e., just plain irritating.

I did enjoy "Dear John" though.

Will, you know the rules. This is the Favourite John Sullivan sitcom thread. If you want to start a Best Letter in John Sullivan's Name thread then do so. Or start your own forum on it. But whatever you do, don't bring your irrelevant nonsense here.

Only Fools and Horses.
