Blanked! How rude.

Totes blanked.

Haven't used the word 'blanked' in ages. Wonder what other teenage mutterings there are waiting to be remembered?

Aw, how quickly slang comes and goes. I remember my friend gleefully shouting 'GUTTED!' at someone who fell over on the bus. He looked at her witheringly and said 'nobody says that anymore.'
He'd managed to make her look like the idiot, even though he was the one on his arse on the floor of the bus.

Well, now that's all I want to do!

Ouch!

My 11 year-old sister is increasingly making me feel like an irrelevant 150 year-old. I have to Google the abbreviations she uses in her texts and she looks at me like I'm an idiot when I ask her if she still likes whichever band she liked last time I spoke to her!

Ahaha, brilliant. *Adds to list of things might say if ever get into one of the arguments I have in my head*

But GUTTED means something like annoyingly disappointed... doesn't seem to fit the bus scenario.

Wouldn't you be gutted if you fell over in public?
It's something people used to shout at each other if something bad happened to them.

Maybe but it would have to be the person who fell over that shouted Gutted.

The language had obviously changed since I used the word. Cool
