Bollocks!!! 1-1.

Meanwhile, much further down the football ladder, the mighty Wolves roll on !
From ferguson's "My Autobiograhy" (Who else;s would it be you twat?)
"The minute a Manchester United player thought he was bigger than the manager, he had to go," he wrote. "David thought he was bigger than Alex Ferguson.
"That was the death knell for him."
2 things there. Referring to himself in the third person - and death knell? Talk about exaggeration!
Nice to see Torres with a bit of form last night.
Still don't think Lampard is really cutting it though.
Good result for Chelsea.
Shame about the Arse.
Quote: George Kaplan @ October 21 2013, 10:42 PM BSTAren't they your team?
Pleased for Martin Jol too, who is one of my favourite managers in the PL.
They are indeed. Doesn't make it any less true!
I like Jol in many ways, but we've looked rudderless at times this season. The first twenty minutes of the Palace game were a case in point.
We won four one, but only had 9 touches inside their penalty box in the entire game.

When Palace scored I thought Fulham were in serious trouble, and possibly were in for a hammering.
I was looking at their team, and 6/11 have played for *bigger* PL clubs (not inc. Duff who came on as sub) - maybe that's too many?
Their brilliant equaliser came from 2 overseas PL imports, Riether crossing for Kasami. Ruiz looks very classy too.
I think you miss Danny Murphy as your leader on the field. How's Scott Parker doing?
Jol looks like he's in for a tough old season with the threat of the sack never far away. I felt a bit sorry for him in the post-match interview when he was all euphoric, and the interviewer mentioned that your next fixture in 5 days time would be the televised game, away at Southampton.
Re: Palace. "The club will be holding a press conference at 5.30pm this evening." Hmm.
I hear Paulo Di Canio is available.
Or maybe Steve Coppell might fancy another turn in the hotseat, if it's curtains for Ollie?

The BBC are reporting he's gone:

Here's the very early betting (Paddy Power) for the next manager:
Chris Coleman at 25/1 seems like a decent bet.
I'm no fan of Pulis as a manager - nothing against him as a person - but he might keep them up. Wouldn't wish him on Palace though.
Stuart Pearce, or Mike Phelan perhaps?
Terry Venables would be my Number One!
Don, who do you want/not want?

And the 'mighty Leyton Orient', as the 5 live commentator called us last night, slip to our first defeat. Keeping that top spot warm for ya, Oldrocker ;-)
Hopefully a line (or three) on newsjack tonight will be a consolation for me.(wishful thinking)

I'd like Andros Townsend as player-manager please. Or Harry Redknapp. Got any Arsenal in your FF team this week? It's fill yer boots time.
Yes, E&S, got the idea after the first two . .
