I've just seen... Page 378

Jack Reacher
Overly long and completely suspense-free action thriller in which Tom Cruise played the same action figure he's played in most of his films.

I'm looking forward to Don Jon, but it's not out for a few weeks yet.

'Prometheus'. God knows how I'll get to sleep tonight. I thought it was going to be a nice Greek drama.

I understand your disappointment - there's nothing worse than ending up watching a gory alien movie when what you were expecting was some nice incest and disembowelment. ;)

;) Tee hee, non violent Greek dramas? errr? No talking stuff through?....just poison, stabbing, drowning???, very efficient though?... of course, no Samaritans then?...

Well I didn't much care for seeing the main character cutting a monster from her own womb. Sick

Prometheus was awesomely dull and nonsensical

the nadir being when the android killed the lady scientists hubby in an especially nasty way

and she was all like meh

But she was right as 9 pence and searching the ship 5 minutes later

Olympus Has Fallen

Pretty good, save for sappy obligatory speeches about 'way of life' and 'freedom' etc.

Though it seems I am an awful stalinist type person who thinks it's totally ok to let one person die if it stops a country being taken over. This didn't occur to anyone in the film as even an option.

Hey! Bruce Willis gave his life for the whole world! Nobody thought that that was a bad idea!

Yeah, but a lot of those people he saved were Americans - if it had just been to save East Asia from a meteor I'm sure it would have been a different movie...

Singing under the Boardwalk killed him?

Watched The Raid over the weekend. Not sure why it got so many good reviews, it was a bit boring and pants. The fight scenes were very well done but after watching 200 of them in a row, it became a bit of a grind.

Wrong, Renegade. I've just watched it and it's great fun.

Singing under the Boardwalk killed him?

Yes - it collapsed on his head.

Jack Reacher.
Despite it being Tom Cruise with all his brooding posiness.
I quite enjoyed it.
