I've got what appears to be a stranded pigeon in my back garden, he doesn't seem able to fly though I can't see any obvious injuries...any ideas what the heck I do??
I've rang a local wildlife place and they told me to feed it corn, wait a week and he will grow his tail feathers...but I don't know if that is the problem.

How long has it been there? Have you tried approaching it?
I've been in and out approaching it for about an hour, it just flaps it's wings, he's walking fine though.
The RSPCA have a helpline on their site, they'll either collect it or you can take it to them
Or you could eat it
I looked them up and it says they are not a rescue service for birds....discrimination I say.
Might just need a little recovery time, I would leave it alone for a few hours and hope there aren't any hungry cats around.
Will do...there's a cat next door who can occasionally be seen eyeing up my rabbit hutch
