I am in my 20s every group I join all I see in the group are just older people and I see no one in their 20s there and when I join other groups it is still the same thing with people in their 50s and 60s and nobody in their 20s there. It seems people in their 20s don't join social groups. Why don't people in their 20s don't more and more social groups?
I have got no friends and I also don't have a girlfriend. I never do meet people my own age.
Why people in their 20s don't join social groups?
It happened again. You landed on a site with people over 50.
I think I know why you don't have no friends, matey.
Some social skills in not repeating everything obnoxiously might go quite a way.
I wanted to be his friend...shake his little hand...of course, after removing his straightjacket.
Telegram884 is a reference to a telegram sent from Berlin to the office of JFK. I believe T884 is a cold war spy who hasn't been told the cold war is over. Or is it?
Quote: Stylee TingTing @ October 17 2013, 2:14 PM BSTI think the OP has a point. Round where I live, there are throngs of 50-60 year-olds hanging around the shops, harassing kids and causing trouble, even spitting their chewing gum on the pavement, sometimes.

Let's just hope he doesn't perfect the disappearing trick!
My first holiday was in West Wittering. We tied plastic bags to our feet with elastic bands to walk through the mud from caravanette to wash house. Once scrubbed, we talked our way into a guest house for a meal.
We watched there the first screening of "All You Need Is Love" by the Beatles in glorious black and white and agreed with the 70-somethings they were now too "way out". Alternatively, I could have dreamt this.

Doesn't help if you join knitting groups.

Knitting is very fashionable these days - it's the radio-repair, draughts & sodomy groups you have to stay away from if you want to meet cool young people.

Actually, it was a "Play For Today", wasn't it?
IIRC it was either called "Frost On The Window Sill", or "Compost And Cheesecake", and was written by Willy Russell, Alan Bleasedale, or Jack Rosenthal. Your character was played by a young Phil Daniels, in possibly his first ever TV role after the David Bailey ads, and Thora Hird played the imposing matriarch at the guest house. Of course, Michael Palin was in fine form as your dad. Or was it Colin Welland?
Alternatively, I could have dreamt this.
Why was telegram884 banned?
Because he/she kept making the same exact thread over and over and over and over and over again. He absolutely would not stop, like the Terminator.
