What are you watching on TV? Page 1,861

Anyone catch the first part of Stephen Fry's "Out There" last night?

If you haven't, I recommend catching up before watching tonight's concluding part.

Alternately maddening, inspiring and frustrating, it looks at attitudes to homosexuality in the developing world in particular.

The Iranian chap who came here to seek asylum after his boyfriend was forced to say he raped him to avoid being executed for being gay was particularly harrowing. He's now basically being asked by the enlightened, free thinking UK Border Agency to prove that he's homosexual or they'll send him back to Iran where he'll face death.

The Undatables. I don't think they titled the show well, but it seems to have good intentions.

Is it the English series? That was quite good.

Yes. Watched two episodes now, definetly just the title I don't like.

The Fry program was very good, because he just soughta went "f**k objectivity this is my life" and it really worked. Also surprisingly objective in that he was clear that even in Uganda the bigots are nutters.
I think he's a little obsessed about hetro sodomites.
