I read the news today oh boy! Page 1,336

It's a complex combination of religious, culture and dare I say it raical identity.

There's a lot of secular Israelis who'll back fundies in the settlements even though, they'd never invite them around for tea.

Because they consider essentially cutting the country in half a security risk and they're sick of being pushed around by the international community.

I just hate it when they use that word against anyone who dares to question their actions

'Anti-semitism'

Why that word?

Why not 'racist' ?

It's like they think 'oh no, if you descriminate against Jews its far worse than common racism , oh no, 'racism' doesn't cut it - if it's against us it's much worse than say, descriminating against black people. So we've made a unique term for this , the worst of all discrimination - isn't just racism - it's antisemitic'

Umm that's kinda racist!

I think

I'm assuming the word they is being used ironically under the circumstances.

actions

'Anti-semitism'

Why not 'racist' ?

Well it's similar to Islamophobic in that not all races can be broken down into geno types or physical features.

It's more picking on a group based on their shared beliefs, values and history,

also antisemitism is sometimes called "the longest hatred" as it's probably the only prejudice against a grouping that stretches over the milenia.

Does that answer your question, it was a question wasn't it?

By 'they' I mean groups like the Anti Defamation League in America

Who spend all their time slagging off anyone who dares to make any anti Israel comments AT ALL

THey criticise people like the Jewish Voice for Peace - a Jewish group that is concerned with the welfare of Jews AND Palestinians!!

Moronic idiots

So they are the Jewish civil rights groups you don't like? And the not they are the ones you do like.

It's a little more nuanced than that.

But then lets be honest you believe Tony Blair smuggled sarin into Syria?

I'm gonna shrug my shoulders on this. And hope you realise that when you use "they" about any group, you reflect some inner prejudice you may not be aware of.

I say' they' merely because I'm a lazy bastard and its just quicker!

And I pride myself on not being predudiced against any race, faith, crede, sexual group etc etc

I'm predudiced against arseholes who deserve it!

Please please don't try to defect any shred of anti Jewishness in me mate

I know your Jewish

And the fact that I'm talking to a Jewish person right now fills my heart with pure joy

Cos, it reminds me, Hitler and his filthy followers wanted you and all your family dead and YES!!! the c**ts failed , we stopped them

Your alive! and here! and whenever I see a Jewish person on the bus or whatever I thank God

Phew

I'm off for a poo - this is all getting to deep for me...

The worst prejudice is that which we're not aware of.

Nicely you really need to start looking at people and not ghastly giant conspiracies.

Old Swiss proverb:

Be nice to a Jew,
before you're off for a poo.

.........is the right answer.

The Red Cross will this winter start collecting and distributing food aid to the needy in Britain for the first time since the Second World War, as welfare cuts and the economic downturn send soaring numbers of people to soup kitchens and food banks across Europe.

In what could be the start of an increased role in Britain for the Geneva-based charity best known for its work in disaster zones, its volunteers will be mobilised to go into supermarkets across the country at the end of November and ask shoppers to donate dry goods. The British Red Cross will then help FareShare, a charity working with the Trussell Trust and Tesco, distribute the packets and tins to food banks nationwide.

Meanwhile the queen just got a 22% rise

This is a tragic tale:
