Bringing this back seeing as I'm all weddingy today and I understand that it can be very tiresome to most. Yay, wedding!

Will transfer my gushing over here. That venue looks gorgeous Nat. I love the country feel. I can imagine you running through the grass barefoot, although if it is next to a working farm, that's probably not a great idea.

The main green in front of the venue is poop free, excluding maybe some chicken poops (they have chickens wandering around).
We're eating a pie a mach feast type thing. Some sort of lamb pie and a chicken, chorizo and butterbean one. And a three part desert (I think a brownie, pannacotta and a salted caramel cheesecake?) and a chip van on the night doing butties!
My friend was all about VoH when she was planning her wedding.
We're making all of the dresses.
Jealous. They are so beautiful and not particularly expensive. Plus they flatter every curve. Only downside is that they do 1950's sizing, so today's size 10 is the equivalent of size 16 in that shop!

That sounds really lovely. I like filling stuff rather than a minuscule chicken supreme from some soulless hotel. A chip van is inspired, that is exactly what you need when you're drunk and have been dancing all night.

I have a vintage 1930's dress. It's beautiful and I love it. Silk brocade material and it shimmers.
I've found a celebrant online that I really like the sound of but the minimum fee is something like £350 which isn't really idea. Wedding ceremonies are so expensive Especially as we have to go to the registry office too, which is £76.
The council registra was going to be £430. Stupid money.
