I really don't see that at all, I think shes sweet, perhaps careful editing is at play once again to get the Twitterati all a flutter.

I do like Ruby, despite her constant 'Oh I'm so rubbish' complaining when she clearly isn't.

I hate her 'I'm rubbish and I have exams and a cat' stuff too. Her bakes do always look a mess - she's right! Mary is more balanced than Paul.
I want Becca to win. Kimberley is smug, Ruby annoying and Frances has that disturbing fringe and the light of crazy in her eyes.

'I like this rubbish' is a typical reaction, but I don't feel the need to simultaneously condemn it whilst admitting to enjoying it. It looks great, the writers are good (Howard Overman FFS), and most of the acting is good too.
My only concern is Medusa, who hasn't yet shone; but maybe she'll come into her own when she starts sprouting snakes.
