Well you could think like that. Or that at least the person has taken the time to make a point rather than actually disappear into the ether. I don't necessarily agree with the point. Everything is cyclical as in life and the site might be at a low ebb. It's also subjective. What to one is boring rubbish might be scintillating stuff to another. Benny Hill comes to mind.
As for doing something about it. I understand the original premise was just to discuss comedy the other forums such as critique and general discussions were add-ons. There could be a case for getting back to the roots. However I think the site would be poorer for it :)
