So what's stopping it?
A total re- invigoration would increase advertising revenue as well as increase the sites standing so it's a win win
When/Why did the BCG become so dull & lifeless? Page 21

That would not be my reading.
You could be right, of course, but we hear a lot about people having been around a long time. We did from him. I've been on this planet longer. 10 years more in his case. Not sure about you. And he did accept that, at around 40, he still has aspirations and that his mood was affected by a recent rejection.
If that was ordinary Joe Public, I'd have sympathy. I always do. But he is in a very well paid profession. Not necessarily one in which it is generally hoped people "couldn't care less".
Only two days ago, an ordinary member of the public posted material. He trashed it with the blunt phrase "Terrible. Sorry." I am then told to "bugger off" and "knock" myself "out". According to him he is all sweetness. The sweetness is on the same level, in my opinion, as the gravitas.
I too have read the posts in 2009-2010. He was on the "comedy is in decline" trip then. He slated most programmes. But Bussell gave him a full page interview and that, I think, is what he misses most.
I don't see why we - and seemingly the rest of the world - should be criticised because of it.
I dunno there's so many trolls, some one would probably post an idiotic pretend sketch.
Then get in an argument withone of their alter egos and it'd be chaos.
Before they piously banged on about what was wrong with critique in another thread.

I just don't think many/any agents would want to do it.
But for all I know there could be a plan like this in the works already, so don't take my word for anything.
If the guest agent was on the header that day it would increase their profile and offer them the opportunity to look at unsolicited material without actually requesting it be sent to them.
This is not far fetched it's just a workable idea that effort would resolve.

And who gunna bell this cat? Or rather, would you like to fund this? I don't recall any TV people leaping out of bed to devote their spare time to teaching squabbling children for free. Even if you paid for professionals, they would still likely do a half-arsed job of critiquing or mentoring if presented with a whole mess of stuff. Unless, as the Pearson guy mentioned, you get James Cotter. He still has the raw enthusiasm and productivity of youth that's yet to succumb to the bottle. But I don't fancy the your chances of luring James back from his high-paid gig with Mr Ronzini at the Armada Room at the Holiday Inn.

I don't think any decent agents need to boost their profile. They get sent hundreds of things a week from potential writers.
Kenneth negative replies and the constant singling out of a certain poster might be your idea of a reply, but sadly this site needs more than that.
Zoo if they have never been asked then their reply remains unknown.

I dunno Cotter's succesful enough he probably needs to do some charity work, so he doesn't seem big headed and out of touch.
Maybe if you rowed around in a boat and pretended to be a refugee?

Ken what's with the photo, I can't work that out at all?

Funny you should mention that. I have noticed on recent flights to Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia, the airlines all have a new announcement: "Do not try to steal the life jackets."
And then at my local pool in Jakarta yesterday, I saw two Middle Eastern guys trying to teach their wives and kids how to swim (and not doing a good job of it). Looks like plenty of folk still willing to risk it all to get to Australia.

Still non the wiser I'm afraid.
Did you write on this show? I don't understand why you're putting stills up?
