What are you working on and what are your plans? Page 2

A "dirty" bomb to detonate at the network of my choice.

(This is a joke or 'sarcastic remark', by the way. For all those in law enforcement who don't know what a joke or a 'sarcastic remark' means, just try to recall those comments members of the public make when you're walking away from them - those are jokes or 'sarcastic remarks'.)

A film about a horse.

A pint of ale shortly, shortly followed by another.

I'm writing a novel, it's hard finding the time as I now work nights on minimum wage and write greetings cards to keep the wolf from the door.
I am also struggling with the grammar and lay out of my chapters but the thing is the best I have written and it's very funny so I just hope it comes together technically and grammatically sooner rather than later.

Title for the new autobiography?

A Man Should Have A Hobby.

As ever, I (re)write 2 or 3 sketches a week to take to my little group - Skit Comp is incredibly useful for finding inspiration, I must say.

We did a couple of small performances of an audio sketch show eariler in the year, and I'm waiting for my friend who has the recordings to get some professional exams out of the way before we try to make them sound good enough to put online.

Next plan is to do a similar performance, but we may perform 2 episodes of an audio sit com I wrote instead of more sketches. We'll have to see about that, we're better writers than performers, that's for sure.

I also literally just finished writing a Clinical Audit & Effectiveness report for quarter 2, but I'm guessing you're not so interested in that.

Oh I don't know.

Stick it in Critique, just for giggles :)

Stalled novel, stalled play, decided I cannot do topical sketches - feeling less and less funny by the minute - adrift on a sea of apathy.

Thanks for asking...

Very much aimed at the little pig market, I should imagine.

It is predominately re hashing the old and inputting the new, it's not very stimulating to be honest but it helps pay the bills.

I

I'm writing a sitcom about a pair of detectives in a Victorian/Edwardian world. I'd describe it as a cross between Sherlock Holmes and The Mighty Boosh. We filmed the pilot over the summer so once its edited I'll be putting it everywhere.

I'm also writing silly rhymes for kids and sending it to publishers. Surreal situations and nonsensical verse mainly.

Sounds interesting - good luck!

I really like the sound of that.

Cheers lads. I hope the humour and the story backs up the synopsis.

We filmed a trailer for another episode a while ago which is here:
