Tim Howard had a hell of a week. A yellow card, a saved penalty, 3 goals conceded, 4 saves, an own goal scored, and a full 90 minutes! Didn't he get an assist on Monday as well? AND he scored a couple of seasons ago!

After this weekend, I am no longer convinced that any of the 20 have a very strong defence.

Those that seem to be doing well have had easy fixtures or easily lapse.

I very nearly risked an additional transfer by contemplating swapping Reid for a Tottenham defender. Thank Jesus that I didn't.

Caution is the key.

You've had a good week and so has George K.

Congratulations to both of you.

Thanks, Radish. Though Spurs managed to put a dampener on it for me, as per usual. I'm just glad that Sky showed the West Brom game instead. Would have been a depressing sight on all fronts, as I continued with my knack for picking my lowest-scoring player as Captain again.

Also, I spunked my wildcard this week, as the saying goes, so now it's downhill all the way! :)

I have made transfers this week though. Packing my midfield with goal shy West Hamites wasn't working so

it's all in the timing! :)

Boruc!!! Unbelievable! Since the wet and wildcard weekend he's been my best player. I noticed my mate had picked him in the other league and he was doing ok and he was cheap. Ten points! This is going to end badly with a 32-0 thrashing by West Bromwich Rovers.

The worst thing is I'd forgotten what I'd changed, so have spent the day like a smug twat patting myself on the back for my football genius.

I clung on to third by the look of it, so that's good.
None of my team performed & most of my points were Boruc/Suarez.
Still I'm not unhappy with my team. there aren't many positions I'd change at the mo, but I've got my eye on a few transfer targets over the coming weeks.

Sixth. Twenty points from the top three, twenty points from the bottom three.

Same here. I also have a sneaky suspicion that I've cursed Olivier Giroud.

Boruc's been on my bench for the last two gameweeks.

Looking at your squad, I'd say you went with the right starting 11. Only change I might have considered was playing RM instead of Fulham defender, Riether, but then he ended up netting you 9pts.

I suppose RM has what Steve labelled as the "X" factor. Trouble is, as with Baines, or Barkley, or now Januzaj, you never know when it'll strike.

Footy is so unpredictable, which is great when it's just about the team you support, but a bloody headache when you're emotionally invested to some degree in every single PL fixture.

I mean, looking at your squad again, one of your other subs, Diame, would have netted you 6pts to Ramsay's single point, but what madman would have played Diame in preference to Ramsay?

I transferred Januzaj out in Week 6.

Oops.

I had Baines from the start of the season, then sold him so I could afford Fellaini, who has been David Moyes' best ever signing. :P Which then meant I missed out on Baines 2 free-kick goals and 16pts against West Ham. Needless to say, Baines is now back in my squad and doing rubbish, and Fellaini has been sent packing.

I forgot there was an international break & made two transfers the moment the last gameweek finished.
I need to have a word, I don't want my players getting injured.
I do pay their wages after all.

This ^ I did last time and had two weeks worrying whether they'd get injured in the matches or in training.

a)Why do I care so much?

b)Believe me you don't do it again. :S
