A favourite of mine, from a rather barren pop era.

Glad you liked it.
It's from his new album, "Rain Plans" which came out on Monday. Picked up my copy today, but haven't played it yet.
This track is quite Band of Horsesy.
His last album was fantastic.
Very similar sound/vibe to Stones on "Exile".
Think Radish & Gordon would like it a lot, as it's also v. Ryan Adamsy, with a touch of Van The Man.
Israel is currently over here, playing a few gigs.

Thanks George. I do like it.
I know little about ING. The only time I've heard him was on Ricky Ross's country programme on BBC Radio Scotland. He popped into the studio to play live just 45 minutes before going on stage. That was impressive.
Ricky, lead singer of Deacon Blue, is a country music enthusiast. He has a good knowledge of new and old country and a likeable presentation style. I hope Bob Harris goes on for ever but had already picked out RR as his natural successor some time before he stood in for him. Bob, I think, was in Nashville at that time. There are half a dozen types of music presenter that will always be essential in life. A Bob Harris is one!

Oh yes, I do like it. Give me country rock/folk any day of the week.

Goodo.
Though I was referring to the "Barn Doors" album, rather than the new track/album as having the common ground/similarities I mentioned.
