Three defeats this early in the season. Sweet Jesus.

It's made my weekend.

What's the betting they beg ferguson to come back before much longer?

I want Wolves to go up.
Orient first though, as it's my dads team.

We'em a-coming !

Well done baggies!!

Two generations of the same family forced out as manager, when the club were going pretty well too.

Kudos, Derby County. Kudos.

If kudos is Japanese for 'you sad ungrateful bastards' then I agree. To choose the Forest match when NF were clear favourites to win was especially nasty. Derby County were always losers, only briefly made winners by the great Cloughy himself.

Yeah, I know. One of those games where it's a pity there can only be one loser.

Agent Clough was doing a magnificant job. Such a shame that the sheep shaggers got wind of his covert antics when they did. He could have had Derby in the Conference in four seasons.

Excellent win for the mighty reds today.

A quick manager watch from my eyes. Moyes is a likeable bloke and that doesn't really make him the ideal successor to SAF. I think he's wanting to be Moyes, not a Fergie copy, so fair play to him for that. He's honest and non aggressive which is nice to see for a change, imo. He's had a terrible start, made some odd selections for yesterday's game and looks a bit swamped by the intensity of the job but I don't think it'll be that bad a thing for MU if he doesn't win a thing for two years but gets a little respect back for the club for having a bit more humility.

Another coach I see surviving an early chop for his likeability, Holloway. So likeable is he I bet Sunderland are hoping he does get sacked because his lightness could be just what they need at the Stadium of Light after the football and PR disaster that was the Mafia boss-like DeCanio.

Manager of the month has to be the equally amiable new Everton coach, modest, quietly spoken but intelligent and his teams seemingly like his approach.

Yes! Wigan were great to watch, and now Everton are much more fun too.

I never much fancied watching Everton games on the telly before.

Whereas Utd were much better to watch under Ferguson. Moyes has made them duller, though last weekend's derby was a great game, thanks to City. And yesterday's game against West Brom had drama, and quality from WBA.

In hindsight, Utd would have been better off with Martinez, or Lambert. Lambert would have been an interesting choice. He's bullish and competitive in a Fergie type way, but his teams are also entertaining and adventurous.

I think Moyes was a mistake, and they've lost their edge. They'll want to give him time, but eventually will run out of patience and will call it a day. They won't want to step into the shadows the way Liverpool did after Dalglish, and they're owned by hard-nosed business guys who won't tolerate the brand and their profits slipping.

God knows what will happen with Moyes. All I'm looking forward to at present is the January transfer window.

Wouldn't it be great if the table DID lie? Millions of football fans waking up in the morning to find Fleetwood Town top of the Premier League.

Orient lost their 100% record.
Still looking good though
