I have to say I have grown to love this man. I'm always happy when I see his name come up on a panel show because a) I know he will provide some funny moments without trying to steal the show and b) unlike a lot of other comics he genuinely cracks up at stuff the other panelists say, often ending in uncontrollable laughter.
Not sure what he is like with an extended set but I'd be keen to have a look.

He is bloody hilarious on panel shows.
Nope! I saw a repeat of him on 8 Out Of 10 Cats the other night and he was, and I'll use the word again, hilarious.
He's always very funny on Mock The Week too.
Next time I want to describe someone I'll write to you with various word choices and get your feedback and permission.

I too would agree with bloody hilarious.
Particularly enjoyed the episode of Argumental where he flip flop argued that gays have more fun - had to watch it several times, as I was laughing so much I missed bits.

I preferred him when he was editor of News of the World.

Finished his book, well worth a read, especially if you are a cricket fan. Got shortlisted for the William Hill Sports Book of the Year no less. Comes across as a thoroughly good bloke.
Also watched an interview of him on YouTube which also involved his son which shows a cuter side to him I didn't expect. Unfortunately I had imagined him as Jon Richardson-like when it came to relationships.
Aw, I didn't know he had reproduced.
Very funny too as John Duggan in The Thick Of It.
