The longer you can wait to use your wildcard the better. If you can buy players who increase in value you will have more to spend when you use it. Gerry - who is a boring if consistent player () has now raised his team value to £101.5m which simply means he can buy more expensive players.

I was doing well rebuilding after losing a lot on Chelsea and a Swansea assets and not buying Coleman and then Coutino went and got injured. Oh well, it's a distance race not a sprint.

Had to change direction a bit with Couthinos injury
From having three Liverpool players, I now don't have any. and I spent far too much on transfers so I'll be slipping down even further this week I imagine.
But I've got the idea of the sort of team I want and have some funds to spend.
So two transfers next week & from then on, no more that cost.

Had already done my transfers before the Coutino injury so I've had to take another 8 point hit.

It doesn't matter. I've had two weeks of scoring in the thirties. That's enough to f**k anyone.

Don't do it! It's Fantasy Football suicide! You're better off (I think) just using your subs and maybe taking a smaller hit.

Now we have to go through it all again tomorrow too.

I sold Baines just after the real transfer window ended.

I watched the Chelsea game hoping that Hazard would be rubbish because I sold him last night. Fortunately he was.

I might have sold Baines already if it hadn't been for injuries.
It's a compelling case to keep him though when he has days like today.

I'm satisfied though.
My 12 point transfer spend has been wiped out by Baines & I still have 6 to play tomorrow including my captain.
Will probably go tits up tomorrow, but at this point I'm pleased I took the risk.

I'm now in a relegation scrap.

Four points today, third from bottom. Two players injured in the first half hour. Seventeen points left on the bench.

Thissums it up.

I can see it being that, fear of losing overriding all else.
