Now taking your song requests... Page 4

You people have weird tastes in music. What happened to old fashioned shit like Joe Dolce and 'Shud up a ya Face'?

It kept "Vienna" off the top slot and will never be forgiven by lifelong fans of Ultravox. :)

Anything by Dalmatian Rex and the Eigentones or Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong.

You've made that up to confuse Tuumble.

Lots of songs to sift through and I've tried to get you all in but one or two may have have missed out due to some of the language in the lyrics which I'm afraid I can't broadcast. Thanks to everyone for all your help.

I guess that means no Jet Boy Jet Girl, huh? Don't feel bad. I have it playing now. You trying telling the kids of today, that years ago, if you wanted to hear a song that wasn't in the Top 40 (and you didn't have it on record or cassette), you had to telephone a radio station and ask the DJ to play it for you. And then you'd tape it from the radio. When I was in school, I would phone the local college radio station to request 'Lick My Sweaty Balls' by The Applicators. I would ask the DJ to say "this request is from David for Fiona" or some other inappropriate coupling.

Curiously, Lick My Sweaty Balls is one of the few songs I have not been able to track down via the internet. If re-released, it would be a sure-fire hit second time around. So perhaps you could find room for it on your playlist, please. Thanks. You can drop the U2 and Whitesnake rubbish to free up some airtime.

Having a listen at the minute...The Who, yay.

He's a male Jeremy ;) some sort of dolphin thingy.

Thanks tuumble ;)

You could always play "Ca plain pour moi" by Plastic Bertrand being the same tune.

It's a bit gay though, isn't it, the French (Belgian) version? Not only the same tune but the exact same backing track used in the two songs. The question is: did Roger Jouret ever play drums for Elton Motello?

I guess, these days people request songs to inflict their bad taste on others, rather than to hear something they otherwise cannot.

I got faded out . . . :|

Sorry mate - the last track was over 7 minutes long and it only had just over 4 minutes in the end. Pick another for next week :)
