And coincidentally that's the only one which is real.
I'm planning to bring in Sturridge for RVP this week. Will free up some money for the rest of the squad. Going to wait til Saturday morning though just in case Sturridge's thigh injury suddenly rears its head again.
Edit:
Actually, looks like I'll be getting rid of Coutinho instead as he's all injured now.
Thigh injury? Looked okay to me running up and down for 95 mins on Monday. I don't know how these coaches get away with it, I don't!
Quote: Rob H @ September 17 2013, 9:03 PM BSTYou're right in many ways. I had Benteke as captain purely because Villa had two games that game week. I also had a funny feeling that Arsenal would struggle against Villa, and Benteke in particular. I had a small wager to that effect (and an even smaller amount on the double with Fulham to win away) and ended up £100 richer. The first few games of the season throw up a few odd results.
And I was careful how I worded it because it wasn't a mistake, just something a lot of managers wouldn't have felt comfortable doing. You had a gut feeling and you went with it and I think that's the right thing to do. When it's gut, even if it doesn't work out you feel that you're still shaping your own destiny. If you choose a player on stats or peer pressure and he doesn't deliver it feels doubly shit.

Suarez and Coutino is the Guns of the Navarone, but it wasn't to be. And now the c**t's dropped in price. Aguero too. Has anyone ever made anything out of that little prick?
Brought Ramsey in for Coutinho. He's fairly cheap and coming into good form. Left me with a few quid to spread round too.
I got Ramsey in as well.
I guess we won't be the only ones.
Must stop spending points on transfers though, although some were neccessary
I've resisted any additional transfers so far. It's tough, but they rarely worked out for me last year.

That's how Liverpool ended up with Stewart Downing.
I've been left with no alternative but to wildcard. My squad just isn't competitive - no active second goalkeeper and far too many passengers (Walcott, Coutinho, Anelka, Lescott - now that Kompany's returning - Townsend, Wanyama) to get rid of in one game week.
I did read on Fantasy Football Scout that it's not such a bad idea to use your wildcard after the transfer window slams shut, so I'll use that as an excuse to cover up my ineptitude.
No tinkering this week. Feels wrong somehow!

Same here, although I plan to make two changes next week. (Yaya and Ryan Bennett are facing the axe.)

I've had a word. They're devastated. However Yaya said 'Your mum!' Whatever that means.
Ben Arfa in - a week too late perhaps, but I fancy a confident Toon might tonk the Tigers.
