What harm could possibly come from someone hearing a noise, not being able to see who it was and blindly firing a weapon through, say, a closed door?

Too right too, it's what any sensible owl would have done.
They should have had an Arnold Shwarzenegger impersonator as best man
so he could say,
wait for it
wait for it
"OWL BE BACK!!!!!!"
Really dislike Cameron, find him arrogant and detached and his social reform agenda vindictive, unfair and harmful. But occasionally he speaks up and makes a lot of sense, as he did about the Spurs chanting saga which the FA have decided to make another sanctimonious preposterous crusade on. If any public body have got too big for their boots and need shooting down it's our FA, pompous gimberts!
Heard some of the debate on radio today and there were at least as many articulate individuals backing Cameron's views as there were Baddiel's. Baddiel has been the embodiment of ultra liberal laid back non practising religion member, cool and not bothered by these matters usually, rarely bringing them into his comedy work. And yet he sounds strangely radical all of a sudden, warning of us letting fascism back into our society.
Get a grip, David, it's not as literal and scientific as that, it's ultra ironic football chanting by clannish football supporters, many of whom are semi idiots and don't quite get the irony, but it isn't meant as religious hatred and nor is it complained about by the club's Jewish owners, crucially. Get off the PC trail which is banning us from saying anything now, get on with your stand up or writing and leave the politics to our politicians. Cameron has the common sense view on this one and the FA need taking down a few levels.
Well it is a very rude word to describe Jews, kinda like the Manchester Niggers or something.
But meh it's been going on for so long it's lost all meaning. And my Jewish friends who supports Spurs don't seem to mind.
They do seem to object to antisemitic chants and such alike, but it's kinda a diferent issue.
Baddiel's complaint seems to be that Spurs fans by brazenly celebrating the club's Jewish heritage provoke the fans of his beloved Chelsea into chanting vile racial abuse that would not otherwise occur to them. It is the Chelsea fans who are the victims really.
What word are you actually talking about?
Yid
You antisemitic c**t!
Is there a lot of anti-Semitism in England? I'm not aware of it here (no, Catholics and Protestants are too busy hacking each other to death! )

The lizard people David Icke rails against are usually Jewish in their human form.
