Does pornography oppress women?
No
No.
No
So we're all agreed then. Close the thread Aaron.
No, it gives them a purpose and a nice bit of pocket money.
Yes, a lot of it can get quite oppressive. I mean where will it end? A massive picture of a c**t on the back of a bus could be quite off putting at 08:00am on a Monday morning.

Glad to see you boys have got this issue sorted out!

I quite agree!
Although, I suppose it'd stop people crashing into the backs of buses. They'd really want to keep their distance.
I try and make an intelligent observation and you all make a mockery of it..
Ok, well to address your point then, there is the line of decency. As a general, I don't believe it's oppressive at all. And I'm sure that there's just as much male porn, if you know where to look. (I don't. )
On an individual basis, yes, some people might be forced into it and/or 'oppressed' by it, but then there's always going to be someone who feels uncomfortable in some way, by any given topic.
Anyway, even if only on a subconscious level, female pornography is ultimately just an appreciation of the female form. So what's oppressive about being admired?
I don't think it opresses women as such. I think it can put false messages across about women to guys sometimes but no, I think porn actually does the opposite in a lot of cases. Some find it empowering. Anyone ever heard of an artist called Annie Sprinkle? She was a porn star before before becoming an artist and she uses a lot of her sexuality in her art.
It's all this being near Charley, it's rubbing off! EEK!

That's a neat trick.
