I would love it if you two got together. You could live in a little remote cottage in the Welsh mountains. I would visit. Maybe this the start of something beautiful.

Lazzie, I have starting reading that Story Book thing you recommended. It's good. Excellent use of £3.

Such a classic! Good to even watch a few minutes worth again.

Have someone coming to stay on Friday night and my flat looks like a disaster zone. Have to mostly work between now and guest arriving.

Are you trying to get inside their pants?

If not, don't worry about the mess.

Been trying to get a handle of the housing situation with relation to the impending separation.

Apparently there's a 'procedure' that may make me look like a bit of a dickhead but does at least sort things out for us all in a relatively straightforward fashion. Who knows until I look into it fully but it looks to be worth considering. It's common practice and legit - it just doesn't look very good on me when written down on paper. :/

As for my own circumstances it would appear that a brand new shared ownership property is feasible but depends if I actually qualify or not. Here's some example figures I've seen:

- £130,000 overall value
- 50% share at £65,000
- Monthly Rent £109
- Mortgage Payment £373

Total monthly outlay £482

With the shuffling of finances including support for the kids and getting the car of my hands etc this certainly looks doable. If it is and do indeed qualify this could all be done and dusted in a couple of months.

Good luck with it.

Sounds ok?, why rent added??.... don't forget council tax.

The rent is so the owner of the other half is actually making something on the deal I guess - not much incentive to do it for them otherwise. The rate is far lower than if I was paying rent on the whole lot so it makes it more affordable to buy. I have to say it seems a little too reasonable but after the meeting I have set up for tomorrow I should know far more if this is viable or not.

That's about the most reasonable version of one of those part buy schemes I've seen and if you get a bit richer in the future you can buy them out. Or spend the money on sweeties. It's all good.

George is relieved, but also semi-annoyed with himself to discover that the semi-valuable thing he thought he'd lost was actually in the first place he'd looked if he'd bothered to check more carefully, in which case he wouldn't have wasted a good half-hour trying to find it and been irritated with himself for being so bloody disorganized, except that he hadn't been because he'd put it where he was supposed to for safe keeping, it's just that he hadn't checked carefully enough when he'd looked, maybe because he was tired, and also because it was a cheap piece of plastic that was easily hidden behind thicker pieces of plastic, in which case it was their fault for producing something so flimsy, even though it was probably more environmentally friendly. He won't be making that mistake again in a hurry. ;)

:) Yes, bloody plastic---always hiding????

My son stayed over at my house, He lost his 'plastic car key' card, we searched all places He had been, I re-looked outside as he had placed something in boot, looked under car--there it was, the little black bugger- right underneath lying on the tarmac- bloody playing 'hide and seek'.

We were too late for Drs appointment.

Ah, sorry to hear that. Sounds much more serious and annoying.

But plastic is the enemy. Always out to get us. Especially in card form. The bugger! Angry
