Oh, you have different keyboards? Peasants! ;)

It took me ages to figure out how to make this ÿ in Queensrÿche for my CD list.

We have keys for ä,ö & ü...but no ÿ.

To be honest, I rate Ozil higher than Bale. Bale's much more a one-player team kind of guy, so probably the man who can still get a result if the other 10 numpties are not performing, but Ozil's (certainly the Ozil of the last Euros) most probably the most creative player I've seen in recent years.

It's a shame that Arsenal already seem to have a number of 'creative' midfielders. Only Flamini can tackle. And I include the defenders in that summary!

That said, Podolski used to be amazing in that German team at the last World Cup and now it's rare I notice him on the pitch until the 70th minute or so. Maybe it was all Klose and I gave him too much credit.

Özil is a fantastic signing for the arse but I'm still amazed it it went through at £46m. They must've put Wenger's balls in a vice. I'm sure he's still under sedation and strapped down in a darkened room somewhere.

Despite Giroud inheriting Van Persie's lovely shiny hair this season I think they still need to bring in another striker. There's a danger that the laziness that appears to have infected Podolski will get Özil too.

Well Real consider him to be half the man Bale is in price anyway so there must be something to that! Bale did some pretty super-human things whilst at Spurs surrounded by mainly ordinary players. If Real can give him the opportunities to not just run at defences but poach a few goals as well I think he'll be great. Better than Ozil? I think so but it will be bloody interesting to see how it pans out.

I fear for Bale. Remember Jimmy Greaves and Mark Hughes.

Oh well, if it all goes belly up, that £300,000/week he's on should help.

I can't say much for Greavesy never saw him play but Bale is definitely a better prospect than Mark Hughes.

I think Mark Hughes did relatively well on loan at Bayern, didn't he? He was never a goalscorer really though; probably the best player ever at holding the ball up allowing other players (Brian McClair, Ryan Giggs, Andre Kanchelski, Andy Cole) to run on to score.

Manchester United need a Director of Football?

Sorry - not having a go at them this time but....

WHAT THE FUCK IS A DIRECTOR OF FOOTBALL?????

The business is football so all the directors should be of football.

In the old days (!) a Manager bought the players he wanted, chose tactics and picked the team. There was also a trainer to get the players fit.

What else do you need?

Well done Vidic.

A Director of Football is..........unemployed Damien Comolli.

WTF you playing at Gordon?

It's only the staff team from a local freezer centre!

This Barclay chap looks like a good prospect for the future. Some lovely touches and great vision.

I don't know what happened there!! Blackout in the 3rd minute: 0-1, then a good reaction: 4-1 after 55 minutes...horrible 35 minutes and then 4-4 in the end.

Embarrassing!

He is the best thing that has happened to English football since either (i) 1966 or (ii) Paul Gascoigne.

So, according to the experts, is Redmond, Morrison, Springthorpe, Shaw and everyone else under 27.

If he's a tenth as good as Gaza then he needs to be playing now, not kept on standby for a 35 year old. Hodgson does amaze me how cautious and dull he is in his management, he keeps the young in form tyros out for players in their 30s in an ideal game for new faces. How are these Barclays and Redmonds going to get a feel for it if they don't play? After Ukraine, just two real games left before Brazil. Redknapp would have had a bit more ambition, one feels. :(

How can you insult Motson?!
