Think the reason's given in that future war scene bit at the start (with the Duck General), but apologies if it wasn't clear enough, there is a lot going on in that first ep! Very flattered by the ATHF comparison, I've never watched that show but know it's definitely meant to be in a similar vein!

I started putting this in a new thread, but realised that then I'd have to do a new thread each week for each episode and I don't want to be spammy Speaking of spam (of the javelin variety), Ep 2 went up this week, would love to know what you guys reckon - if nothing else, it solves the pressing issue of there not being enough heartfelt Meatloaf-style power ballads about Whales searching for penises in shows nowadays. Please excuse my shonky piano playing...

Thanks Will!! The writing we did on and off while working on other projects, but the bulk of the making will have taken about 8-9 months by the time we've got all eight episodes out. Which I guess seems like a long time for 5-and-a-half minute episodes, but like I say it's literally just the two of us making it, we both write it then I do all the artwork and write any songs, and Paul does all the animating - then we both edit/direct it and sort actors and VO sessions etc. It's been a pretty crazy production! Ep 3's out on Wednesday so will bung it up here once it's online!

I can't believe you get that good a quality with just the two of you - I take my hat off to you both. Have you pitched them to any TV stations etc.? Both episodes so far are TV quality ready to watch.
Wow, that's unbelievably kind of you! No, we haven't pitched them yet or anything like that, I think we'd hope to once all the episodes are out, but to be honest at the moment we're just concentrating on getting them all out there and hopefully as good as possible - anything after that would be a bonus!

Absolutely agree with Will. There is 5 mins of a show ready to go.
Preferred 1 to 2 but that is a personal aversion to knob gags. Love the multilayers of gags you put in.
