nb Jenny have you seen there's a bunch of sitcom writing courses coming up in London; the Chris Head one, the Sitcom trials one and I think a Mark Blake one.
Could be interesting?

I am doing the Screenwriting Stage 2 at City Lit (well I will be if I can actually get round to signing up.)
Considered Birkbeck, but they are so expensive.
I like the City Lit one as it seems to be more of a structured screenwriters writing workshop. Lots of exercises, then feedback from everyone.
I feel a bit coursed out at the moment. There isn't much more for me to learn, I just need to write. And re-write. (Sorry, that sounds arrogant - what I mean is, there isn't much more I need to be taught, I need to learn just by writing now.)
Although - must say I did the Sitcom Mission one, and it was really fun. Still in touch with a lot of the people I met on that course.
City lit awesome, I did both I think Birkbeck edges it (even if my mum teaches at City). They used to do some really good courses with Marc Blake, but I'd seriously reccomend a dedicated sitcom course.
I have my disertation for my screen writing course around in critique somewhere, it got a distinction doncha know.
Just read you did the sitcom mission one, shut my fool mouth then!
If you get a chance the one day one with Dave Cohen is probably the best follow up.
