Brilliant! One of the kids asked in which country did the first plants arrive in. I explained that plants came about before countries. That Pangea map is just the job. (I also love maps, it appeals to the geek in me)

I was shocked at the ginger haired proliferation in Wales to be honest. But I only know about 50% of the population (about eight people) so it must be the other eight.

I adore maps. I spent two hours in Stanford's last weekend.

Lovely jubbly, you could take a modern map and snip out the countries then give the 'jigsaw pieces' to the kids and see if they can fit them to make Pangea.
