Quote: Chappers @ September 1 2013, 9:40 PM BSTRecently got a double Elton hits CD. Wish it contained Border Song. The first song of his I heard and loved the gospel feel. Not heard it for decades.
Have this one on me . . .

I hadn't heard that before. It must be one of the best things they have recorded.

Funnily enough, I nearly posted this video a week ago. The Lemonheads were one of my favourite American bands in the 1990s. Also liked the Ryan Adams song. Have the first two albums, both of which are great.
Played this around 15 times since I picked it up a week ago. Very decent debut album from Birmingham band. Sound a bit like Stone Roses Lite on some tracks, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Were good live too when I saw them earlier this year, third on the bill to Two Door Cinema Club. Kind of thing you can listen to any time of the day/night - generally I tend to avoid heavier stuff in the mornings.

Lesley got a lot of airplay around 1970-1972 but opted for a quiet life on the Isle of Mull. She died in 2010.
