You can buy Sturridge and have 5m change for what Van Pointless costs. Split that upgrading a mid and a defender and are you really going to net fewer points? Plus all your eggs are in one basket.
Well that makes sense, Godot, but sadly injuries and the Chelsea situation meant I couldn't afford any more transfers.

I guessed you brought in Silva, but surprised you captained him over Van Persie.
I notice you never sub out players from teams that aren't playing. Obviously it gets done automatically but no-one is so busy that they haven't got time to do it when they pick their team. Is it a superstitious thing?

Yeah, I like getting an extra boost at the end of the gameweek, it is absolutely pointless though
