Mono or stereo?
Stereo.
Because it's a box set I don't keep it with my other CDs. Then when I look through to decide what to play I totally forget about them.
I've just made a point of listening to Let it be and now going through Abbey Road.
I can't see how you think Let it be is a crap album. Maybe in relation to Beatles albums but it's still got some fantastic tracks; Two of us, Across the universe, I me mine, Let it be, Long and winding road, Get back.
I remember seeing the film and it was quite spontaneous and "live." Was the film ever released on DVD?
Started listening to Abbey Road - skipped Octopusses garden.
Another reason the Beatles were so good was because Lennon and McCartney were individually such great songwriters (yes I know George was too but he always wrote alone) and they bolted together bits they'd written individually to make great songs. "I want you (she's so heavy)" was just one instance.
Incidentally I don't have and have never heard "Let it be - naked."
