Hi Beaky,
I did indeed stumble upon it.
I was very skeptical about it initially,
But it seems to be a break from the set up punch joke that I myself would write.
But I am wary of investing 100 euro.
So far Ive read Judy Carters comedy bible, Greg Deans step by step which is interesting when he talks about POV- which I think is the funniest style in the world. And now I've read that serious guide to joke writing which is recommended here.Very very good. Oh and Gene Perrets boook which has somme great exercises for creating phantastic chimeras.
Ive written a lot of jokes- and Ive watched myself perform and to be honest while I like my jokes- I don't like my style i.e one-liners which don't build into crescendos and which don't incorporate much POV charater act outs.
Anyways this course claims to be a break from the paleolithic vaudeville style I am trying to diversify from. So nobody has tried it?
According to its sales letters- You all have but are terrified of letting the competition in on these trade secrets!!!
