The Royle Family axed?

According to Wikipedia, The Royle Family has been axed and will not be returning for any more episodes. Can anyone please tell me whether this is true or false?

I told you Greg. That's what it says. Then again you always can't trust Wiki.

I know that's why I've created a thread to get other people's opinions and views on it to see whether it really is axed or not?

I hope it's not true. After the last special I don't blame them.

Also it would be mentioned on here Greg.

But you can trust Aaron. So, let the man speak first.

That's what I'm waiting for.

Gordon when you said Aaron. He comes on.

Wikipedia is wrong. Or rather, part accurate and jumping to misleading conclusions based on a partial story.

Here is the truth. Quite the opposite of what Wikipedia reports: https://www.comedy.co.uk/news/story/000001197/absolutely_fabulous_royal_famliy_may_return/

I don't think they will make a special this year though.

I know...he's a superhero. He's "F**king C**t". ;)

Correct. Read the story:

He also confirmed interest in further special episodes of The Royle Family - but not at Christmas.

Thank you for clearing that one up, Aaron. David Smith appeared to be getting suicidal. Laughing out loud

Stupid Wiki.

That's what you get for Wikipedia. Hopefully we may see another Royle Family sometime in the future.
