2. You Rang M'lord
3. It Ain't Half Hot Mum
4. Dad's Army

Just reading there that David Croft and Jeremy Lloyd are currently working on a new sitcom called 'Here Comes the Queen' Should be interesting.

Just noticed there about David Croft. I bet there have not been many eighty-five year olds who have written a sitcom.

Who does it star? Dale Winton?

Wendy Richards, maybe?

A return to television for jungle winner Biggins?

Personally, I don't think Dad's Army is that funny anymore. Yes, it's endearing and the performances are great. It's just that when comedy goes beyond thirty years it's quality seems to deteritrate. For instance, who laughs at Charlie Chaplin now? All that slapstick has been done by Tom and Jerry for goodness sake!

I recently watched chaplin for the first time and I actually fell off my chair laughing, that said i love physical comedy - peter sellars in the pink panther movies have me in pain but other people just look at me slightly bemused.

You can keep all this embarressed silence crap, give me a banana skin anyday!

Yes it stars Wendy Richards. Also in it is the Chinese actor Burt Kwoak, who appeared in the Pink Panther movies and Last of the Summer Wine.

So what is it about then? Is Wendy the Queen?

I'd say that that's a pretty reasonable assumption.

Well it could be a "humourous" title.
