Thanks for the link.

I am ecstatic about this.

The stripped down arrangements are really wonderful.

Haven't listened to it yet but the booklet is beautiful with a Greil Marcus essay. And yes, the stripped down arrangements, I loved Volume 9 (The Witmark Demos) for it. Very stripped down and intimate.

Last night I went to see Robin Bibi at Merton Abbey's Abbeyfest.

He's a brilliant blues guitarist - played with lots of greats. Has a good voice too and a great hat.

Interesting. I've now had a look at his website.

Is that near the short golf course?

Merton's unfamiliar. I've been South of London, South of Sutton and South of Croydon when in the South.

But I have hacked around there a few times.

Bootleg Series Vol. 10 is great!!

I got round to watching the Quadrophenia: Can You See The Real Me documentary earlier. They covered a lot of old ground about the album, but there were some nice bits in there such as talking to the girls photographed for the album sleeve and a tour round the studio it was recorded in. It's probably one of my favourite albums, so I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Good news for me: Clapton will do two concerts in Basel this year.

Merton Abbey is just north of Sunhill police station.

Here's the website for it although it's over now.

I was thinking of Morden Park. Know Morden - and Wimbledon - but not the areas around them.

Macca's new song is available in the internet.

Has anyone heard Matt Berry's music? Apparently it's quite interesting.

And that is a clip of 21st Century Schizoid Man on the Paco Rabanne advert isn't it?

That is a bit different.

See he has comedy links - Coogan, Fulcher, Brooker - and collaborated with the Bluetones, the legendary Geno Washington and Three Trapped Tigers, arguably the most underrated band in the country today.

Can't listen to this now without thinking of Eddie Watts:
